With the start of Term 2 just around the corner, my staff and I are very excited about out FAMILY & FRIENDS' PRESENTATIONS.

For those of you who are new to our Academy, these presentations take place in the last few weeks of term and offer our students an opportunity to perform in front of an audience. We find this experience invaluable, especially for those who wish to participate in our End of Year Productions (Term 4). Having an intimate audience of familiar, friendly faces help the students to overcome any nerves they may have at the thought of performing in front of an audience.

These presentations also allow our families to have a 'sneak peak' at the types of things that we teach the children at our weekly classes. In contrast to our Productions, these are more what we like to call an 'open class', displaying a cross-section of material covered throughout the term. Please feel free to invite family, friends, teachers & school Principals to these Presentations.

If anyone you know is keen on finding out more about how our program can help their child, these shows will be of interest to them also. These shows will be held on the following dates, at our normal venues, during regular class times:

FRIDAY, 16th JUNE - Glen Huntly Primary School Studio
THURSDAY, 22nd JUNE - Huntingtower School Studio
FRIDAY, 23rd JUNE - St Timothy's Primary School Studio
MONDAY, 26th JUNE - Blackburn North Studio
TUESDAY, 27th JUNE - Glen Waverley Primary School Studio
WEDNESDAY, 28th JUNE - Brandon Park Primary School Studio

A number of students will be receiving awards at these shows. Our awards are for a student's commitment to their own self-development and include a variety of certificates & trophies, dependent on their time with the Academy.

Our 2017 Productions will be on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th December.
